Blissful Journeys

Blissful Journeys is a “Karma Yoga Project” which was established to give young individuals with physical disabilities the opportunity to travel outside of their community and see the world. In keeping with the philosophy of our organization, we want to expand the horizons of young individuals with disabilities, who traditionally have limited opportunities in our society because of their mobility issues and challenges in keeping pace with “able-bodied” peers.

We’re going to the Grand Canyon in Arizona!!!  In April 2012, we’re planning a Blissful Journey to the Grand Canyon for four (4) young individuals with disabilities.  As such, we need to fundraise $7,500.  Please visit our ChipIn page to help make this dream a reality!

Breakdown of trip expenses for 4 young individuals with disabilities and 4 support staff:

• Airfare (x8) = $3,000
• Minivan Rental (x2) = $750
• Accomodations within the Grand Canyon (3 nights) = $1,500
• Food = $1,500
• Activity Fees & Leisure Expenses = $750
• TOTAL = $7,500
